WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL GO TOWARD
Compassion Coalition launched Equipped to Teach in December 2017. Full-time, New York State Certified Teachers who are currently teaching in elementary and high schools of 70% or higher free or reduced lunch can schedule a time to come and shop at our resource center for their classroom needs. Through a partnership with national donors, we are able to get one of a kind educational supplies donated, but Compassion Coalition has been buying basic, necessary supplies to disperse in the center. Our community has asked how to get involved with this one of a kind venture: no donation amount is too large or too small. 100% of all donations go directly to obtaining products for our Teacher Resource Center, Equipped to Teach.
WHAT DOES COMPASSION COALITION DO?
For 18 years, Compassion Coalition has been considered one of the top non-profit agencies in Utica and Central NY. Every political and social influencer has praised Compassion Coalition for its innovative approach to help those most vulnerable in the community. Since 1999 Compassion Coalition has donated well over $20 Million in products on a yearly basis. Additionally, in 2016 it served over 300,000 individuals all doing this with one of the lowest donations to expense ratio. Currently, Compassion Coalition can boast that .96 cents out of every $1 will go back to the community. Today, Compassion Coalition is an international organization headquartered in Utica NY and although their services can be seen in different nations its main priority is still serving its community.
